Miskatonic University is the fictional Ivy league school in Arkham, Massachusetts featured in Lovecraft's stories Herbert WestReanimator and The Dunwich Horror. It is said that the Necronomicon is housed in the university's library. The year on the Miskatonic University Class necklace is 1928, the year The Call of Cthulhu was published. The ribbons that surround the class medallion are Cthulhu's tentacles.
